Recipes:)
So here are two that use a nice cheap roast..the more sinewy and cheap the cut the better. Just make sure the meat is thawed before you use it.
1) You place the roast (one about the size of 4 of your fists put together..a good thick oval one)in the bottom of your crock. Then you pour 6 cups of salsa over it. Place it on low for 6-8 hours, and voila...meat for burritos, to put on rice, use in a nice chicken stew with torrtilla chips scattered on top, or mixed with cream cheese for a dip...the possibilities are endless!!!
2) Take a roast, same size as before. Place it in the crock, and dump a can of mushroom soup, a packet of dry onion soup mix and a chopped onion over it. Go ahead and mix these things up if you want...you don't have to though. Set it on low for 6-8 hours, and man; it is fine!!! Juicy, soft and you can pull it apart with your fingers. The sauce is great spooned over rice, and it gets even better after sitting around in the fridge for a few days! Yummy!!!

If you want recipes of a more unique nature (drinks and bread, dessert, etc.) just let me know..I got a crock for christmas a few years ago and also got a great cookbook with it. Lots of great recipes!!!
