This reminds me of my time in our trauma 1 hospital. Five years ago; I crashed on my motorcycle. Actually, the 81 year old driver didn’t stop at the stop sign and I hit him broadside.
The care I received in the trauma ICU was stellar; the care on the meidcal floor was atrocious. BUT, being a nurse myself; I could see the reason…NOT ENOUGH NURSES. And too many patients for the nurses that were there.
So when you look for the reasons for poor medical care, look at the administrators. They usually are the reason for the shortage of nurses in any hospital. They are always trying to get rid of “a few more” just to balance their budgets.

I have recently published a book, “My Private Confessions: An Enlightening Journey through Breast cancer and Sexual Harassment,” available through RoseDog Books today. The book explores the blatant comments a father figure physician directs to a nurse returning after a year-long absence battling breast cancer and is a must read for all nurses, their friends, and family members to whom they love. For your personal copy, please contact www.rosedogbookstore.com or call 1-800-834-1803. Thank you sincerely for your time and interest.
